Enjoy the distinctive taste and aroma of the typical wines of Tuscany

The art of winemaking in Tuscany has very ancient roots, since the Etruscans already produced and even exported this product.
Tasting the fine wines that Tuscany offers is then an excellent way to experience the local traditions first-hand.

The selection is wide, but we’d like to focus on the wines that are typical in the province of Grosseto, because we feel that they are particularly “ours”.

Montecucco Sangiovese

It is a DOCG wine that is made up of 90% (minimum) Sangiovese grapes, while the remaining percentage includes other red grapes still coming from Tuscan vineyards. The ruby-red colour, the fruity aroma and the slightly tannic taste make this wine excellent. The product is also available with the “Riserva” mention: it is slightly more alcoholic, the bouquet is more refined and the taste is enriched by a slight scent of wood.
Red meat and pecorino cheeses are perfect to be consumed with this wine.

Monteregio di Massa Marittima

A DOC wine that is made to age for at least two years, of which six months in wooden barrels and three in bottles. In this case, the percentage of Sangiovese grapes is 85% and also in this case the remaining percentage includes black grapes coming from vines that are suitable for cultivation for the Tuscany region.

Morellino di Scansano

Another excellent DOCG wine that owes its name to the tiny grapes, obtained from a local clone of Sangiovese grapes, which make up 85% of the grapes used for this wine. The final product is a fruity red wine with a medium texture, an elegant, balanced taste, perfect to accompany several gastronomic products.
